OVERVIEW

A Mediterranean man emerged from barbarism by learning how to grow olives and vines, said Thucydides, the Greek historian, and you will have the opportunity to experience this culture in the tavern at the agrotourism estate ‘Ražnjevića dvori’ during the wine tasting of the grapes of Ravni kotari. Besides the two wines by the prominent eco-winemaker awarded at the Decanter World Wine Awards in London, whose wines were served in the European Parliament, you will also taste two aromatic wines enjoyed by many dignitaries, including the royal families, and round up this experience with homemade wine and olive oil derived from the fruits of the soil of this region with the rich and turbulent history. Prosciutto and sheep cheese are symbols of the local diet as well as homemade bread. Venture into trying the wines of this area with unique character, find out the secret of the ‘father’ of Zinfandel and Primitivo and get briefly introduced to the wine and olive history that is over 2000 years old in the unique ambience of the old Turkish arsenal from the 16th century.

Plitvice lakes is the oldest and most famous park in Croatia and among the most famous in Europe. With its 96 waterfalls and 16 lakes in the catchment area of the Korana river, and a multitude of tributaries and streams, it is a wonderful and huge complex of forests and natural diversity.
It is the oldest national park in Croatia declared in 1949 and registered on UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 1979. The park covers 30,000 hectares of which 200 hectares are covered by lakes. We will take you on a walking tour to the waterfalls across wooden bridges and footpaths through breathtaking landscapes. Then we will take a small tourist train and an electric boat to the biggest lake called Kozjak.

In one day you will visit the equally rich cultural (UNESCO heritage of the town of Šibenik) and natural heritage of this region from a totally different perspective – by sailing from the mouth of the Krka river upstream towards the beautiful waterfalls. Krka National Park – 75 kilometre long complex of travertine waterfalls of the Krka river is the largest in Europe. The largest waterfall ‘Skradinski buk’, which can be reached by boat, is 46 meters high and has six steps over which the Krka river flows. Its flow is strongest in spring. The National Park is dotted with hiking trails through the lush, refreshing vegetation and wooden bridges over the river, alongside the waterfalls. The river is suitable for summer swimming under waterfalls, in the safe zone that is fenced by buoys. You will also visit the original ethno village – reconstructed old mills and house with an exhibition and presentation of traditional crafts.

Let’s explore Kornati national park and Telašćica nature park. This fun tour introduces you to the remarkable Kornati national park and Telascica nature park. Experience the special feeling of taming the sea in a traditional wooden boat with which and from which our ancestors lived every day. We take you on a full-day cruise to the most indented part of the Mediterranean with 150 islands and islets on 320 hectares, of which the vast majority is on the protected area of Kornati National Park. Check the magnificent steep cliffs that broke off into the abyss during the creation of these volcanic paradise islands and made a wall protecting the coves with the most beautiful emerald sea in the Adriatic from the open sea.
The tour continues by sailing in Telašćica Nature Park, a natural extension of the Kornati islands, the largest and safest cove on the Adriatic coast. You can swim in the cove or in Slano jezero (Salty lake) that has healing properties due to the very high salinity, and walk to the lookout above the 150-meter cliffs that descend steeply into the open sea in the south of Dugi otok (Long island).
