OVERVIEW
A hilly region of vineyards, castles, saps, cosy villages, and picturesque landscapes. The ethno village Kumrovec is known as the best of Croatia’s museum village and as the birthplace of Josip Broz Tito, the president of communists Yugoslavia. The Old Village Museum consists of a collection of small houses each one devoted to a particular rural weaving and toy making. Among the houses is Titos birthplace in front which is standing huge statue of the Marshal.
