OVERVIEW

Plitvice lakes is the oldest and most famous park in Croatia and among the most famous in Europe. With its 96 waterfalls and 16 lakes in the catchment area of the Korana river, and a multitude of tributaries and streams, it is a wonderful and huge complex of forests and natural diversity.
It is the oldest national park in Croatia declared in 1949 and registered on UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 1979. The park covers 30,000 hectares of which 200 hectares are covered by lakes. We will take you on a walking tour to the waterfalls across wooden bridges and footpaths through breathtaking landscapes. Then we will take a small tourist train and an electric boat to the biggest lake called Kozjak.

OVERVIEW

Let’s explore Kornati national park and Telašćica nature park. This fun tour introduces you to the remarkable Kornati national park and Telascica nature park. Experience the special feeling of taming the sea in a traditional wooden boat with which and from which our ancestors lived every day. We take you on a full-day cruise to the most indented part of the Mediterranean with 150 islands and islets on 320 hectares, of which the vast majority is on the protected area of Kornati National Park. Check the magnificent steep cliffs that broke off into the abyss during the creation of these volcanic paradise islands and made a wall protecting the coves with the most beautiful emerald sea in the Adriatic from the open sea.
The tour continues by sailing in Telašćica Nature Park, a natural extension of the Kornati islands, the largest and safest cove on the Adriatic coast. You can swim in the cove or in Slano jezero (Salty lake) that has healing properties due to the very high salinity, and walk to the lookout above the 150-meter cliffs that descend steeply into the open sea in the south of Dugi otok (Long island).

TOUR DESCRIPTION

Elaphite Cruise from Dubrovnik by Karaka

Let us take you to beautiful Elaphite Islands where you can enjoy the magnificent landscape, sandy beaches and picturesque little towns. Doing the cruise, you will become familiar whit each of our unique Islands which will be introduced by our experienced guide.

Before coming to our first island, you will have the optional possibility of grabbing a worm breakfast toast/sandwich at additional cost and enjoy 2 free drinks while sailing.

Our first stop is Kolocep also known as Calamotta which is closest to Dubrovnik. This Island is enriched with natural beauty. There you will have a chance of taking optional hiking tour.

From Koločep we are continuing further to Šipan island and town Sudurad. It is the place where Skocibuha family mansion from the 16th century is situated. Except calming nature and sight seeing we offer you a possibility of optional wine tasting.

Heading further to Lopud island you will have the possibility of taking pleasure in swimming at beautiful sandy beaches and using our full faced masks.

After the exciting cruise unwind you mind by looking at crystal blue Adriatic Sea.
