Often called as the heart of Adriatic, the city of Split is guaranteed to leave you captivated. The city is a home to Diocletian’s palace, which is placed in the old part of the city. The Diocletian’s palace, together with other nearby sites, is the UNESCO world heritage site. It was founded 1700 years ago and it is considered to be one of the oldest cities in this part of Europe.
