Croatia has reopened its borders for the upcoming tourism season. Similar with the travelers coming from the EU zone, Croatia is also welcoming travelers from the USA and other countries, outside of EU. With United and Delta airlines introducing direct flights to Dubrovnik, this could be the year when we would welcome more American travelers than ever before. This is fantastic news for all Croatian destinations, especially for the region of Dubrovnik!

The renowned magazine Forbes just recently published that Croatian destinations are being intensively searched on online search engines on the US market. Currently, the most seek after destinations in Europe are Croatia and Greece, as reported by Forbes. This has also been reported by the CNBC, NY Times and the Wall Street Journal. We can only hope that this trend will continue and that American travelers will, despite the ongoing pandemic, come and visit Croatian destinations.

Croatia welcomes travelers who meet the earlier announced travel requirements:

  • Proof of full vaccination
  • If a person has recovered from COVID 19
  • Negative covid test no more than 48 hours prior to the arrival
