Delta Airlines today announced it will start to operate from New York’s JFK to Dubrovnik, beginning July 3rd, 2021. This is the first time Delta has introduced its service between Croatia and the USA.  This is fantastic news for Dubrovnik and Croatia, as Dubrovnik will now be, along with United flights, connected to New York seven times a week.

“Croatia was the first European country to open its borders to U.S. citizens. It continues to be a popular tourist destination with Americans and we are responding to this high demand for travel by flying nonstop to Dubrovnik for the first time,” said Joe Esposito, S.V.P. – Network Planning. “We’re excited to operate to
this new European market and we look forward to welcoming new customers to Delta and in turn, supporting the local economy and global travel recovery”, he concluded.
Frano Luetić, Managing Director of Dubrovnik Airport commented: “We are happy and proud that Delta, one of the world’s top airlines, is going to introduce this direct route from New York-JFK to Dubrovnik. This route will contribute significantly in encouraging the return of U.S. visitors to Dubrovnik, and Croatia
overall, in these difficult times.”

It is important to highlight that the following travelers will be able to enter:

  • Travelers who are fully vaccinated
  • Travelers who have a negative PCR test
  • Travellers who have a proof of recent COVID-19 recovery
